The Marriage Course is a series of 7 sessions designed to help any couple invest in and strengthen their relationship.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
On the Marriage Course you are seated at your own table for two. Each evening will include a practical talk and a time for private discussion between you and your partner. You never share anything about your relationship with anyone other than your partner. Background music ensures that you can chat in complete privacy.

WHO IS IT FOR:
The Marriage Course is for any couple, married or common law, seeking to strengthen their relationship. Some couples do the course to intentionally invest in their relationship, others are looking to address more specific challenges.
The Marriage Course is based on Christian principles but designed for all couples with or without a church background.
On inclusion: please note that we welcome couples of all backgrounds. While the materials at our disposal are binary, we hope that all would find the content applicable, engaging, and helpful.

May 5 - Building Strong Foundations: learn to understand each other’s needs.
May 12 - The Art of Communication: How to Listen and Communicate Effectively
May 19 - no session (long weekend)
May 26 - Resolving Conflict: Develop methods to resolve conflict and disagreements
June 2 - The Power of Forgiveness: Learn how to apologize and forgive as a couple
June 9 - The Impact of Family - Past & Present: Explore the impact of your family on your relationship
June 16 - Good Sex: Find ways to develop greater sexual intimacy
June 23 - Love in Action: Learn your partner’s ‘love language’ and how to love them well

We gather in the church hall at West Vancouver United Church

COST:
$25 per couple, includes two Guest Manuals per couple, as well as dinner. Fee is non-refundable. Child care available.
